The Network/La Red uses the cell phone drive to provide emergency phones to domestic violence survivors and to raise significant funds to support their programs. All donated phones are either refurbished as emergency phones for survivors of domestic violence through the Verizon Hopline program or sent to Shelter Alliance, a firm that specializes in the underwriting of fundraising programs through the collection and responsible recycling of used cellular phones, with all proceeds to support The Network/La Red's services and education to end GLBT domestic violence.
Cell phones can also be mailed to The Network/La Red PO Box 6011, Boston, MA 02114. Please see our website www.thenetworklared.orgfor directions to any of these drop locations.
